Kodak T-MAX P3200 (TMZ) is a 35mm black and white negative film that excels when shooting in (very) low light or when capturing fast action. T-MAX P3200 is ideal for street photography, evening shots or generally in conditions where no artificial (flash) light can be used. The nominal film speed of this film is ISO 800, nevertheless the emulsion was specifically optimized by Kodak to push (underexpose) the film to much higher film speeds while maintaining the best possible image quality. Hence the inclusion of the letter “P” in the product name. T-MAX P3200 offers the best image quality between ISO 800 and ISO 3200. Even up to ISO 6400 the results remain more than acceptable. Beyond this speed, you should check whether the results still meet your expectations, as the grain size then becomes more significant.

Like any other Kodak T-MAX film, compared to the more conventional black and white films, this P3200 offers the finest grain at high film speeds. Performance in terms of sharpness, detail and magnification capabilities also meet the highest expectations.
